For almost five decades, the BRABUS team has presented many engineering masterpieces. Traveling at the speed of light in the galaxy that seems to be their normal routine, right? Yes, this is exactly the reflection of the German brand's uncompromising philosophy.

Every time, we ask ourselves a very serious question: What can BRABUS create next to surprise us? However paradoxical it may sound, the brand always manages to shock us. A clear example of this is their new creation, the motorcycle: BRABUS 1400 R. But, we should make a small correction: it looks more like an alien spacecraft than just a motorcycle.

To avoid boring you with philosophical talk, the BRABUS 1400 R is built on the well-known KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE R EVO platform. The motorcycle has a two-cylinder, four-stroke, V 75° engine and a 6-speed gearbox. Its capacity is 1350 cm³, producing 187 horsepower (HP) and 145 Newton meters (Nm) of torque.

The most revolutionary part of the BRABUS 1400 R is its third-generation WP APEX semi-active suspension system. But the most important thing is the brakes. The stopping power is provided by the Brembo brand. The front axle has four-piston calipers and a 320 mm brake disc. The rear axle has a 240 mm disc. The ABS system ensures a record-short braking distance, which is critically important. The dry weight of the motorcycle (without fuel) is 200 kg, and the fully fueled weight is 212 kg. This minimal weight helps the bike accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds. The 1400 R has a 17.5-liter fuel tank, which is perfectly enough for riding in the city and for long distances.

As Karl Lagerfeld said, „Black is the most elegant color" and „You can never go wrong with black." Yes, for BRABUS, this philosophy is a matter of identity, not just design. The 1400 R SIGNATURE EDITION continues this aesthetic and tradition. Of course, this motorcycle will not be a mass-produced item. Only 100 units will be available. As for the price: Are you ready to pay 49,900 Euros?
