Honda NSX: A Legend Revived and a New Era of Immortality

In the history of the car industry, there are special cars that are ahead of their time. They create their own era and stay in our hearts forever. One of them is definitely the Honda NSX. It stands out for its excellent engineering and unique character. The Japanese car giant will start a new program in Spring 2026. Its main goal is to give a longer life to these legendary models. With this new plan, Honda will start making and supplying rare spare parts again. This will certainly make NSX owners and fans very happy.

Even though not all parts might be original OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) from the factory, Honda says they will give customers "genuine compatible parts." This means that Honda will work with different business partners. They will use 3D printing and other new methods. Their goal is to make sure these parts meet the highest quality standards for how they work and perform. Most importantly, these parts will be available worldwide, which will make NSX restoration easier everywhere.

It's also important to note that from Spring 2026, Honda will offer a full car restoration service for various models. However, this is not entirely new news. Since 1993, under the "NSX Refresh Plan," we could already restore this special car. But even then, factory restoration costs were quite high. For example, in 2020, a complete engine overhaul cost $23,600. Updating the suspension cost $24,033, and repainting the car was $38,000. These costs will probably be even higher today. The Japanese company promises to tell us more details in Autumn 2025. All we can do now is patiently wait for these exciting updates!
