Georgia's car fleet is going through a big change. Despite global economic challenges, the country's luxury car market is entering a new stage. A few years ago, ultra-exclusive brands like Lamborghini, Rolls-Royce, or Ferrari were very rare on Georgian roads, and seeing one always caught people's attention. Today, their numbers are growing steadily and noticeably.
This trend shows a growing high-income segment and an increase in capital in Georgia. Besides local demand, tax and customs rules are also an important factor. Compared to other countries, conditions in Georgia are often attractive to foreign owners. Because of this, seeing supercars with Georgian license plates in European cities and luxury resorts (like Monaco) is no longer a surprise.
According to Geostat, more than 78,700 cars were registered for the first time in the country from January to June 2026, bringing the total number of registered cars to 1,975,829. With this massive growth, the rise of exotic and luxury cars stands out clearly.
According to data for the first six months of 2026, the following cars were registered in Georgia:
- Lamborghini: 43 units (total: 112)
- Ferrari: 26 units (total: 100)
- Bentley: 21 units (total: 167)
- Rolls-Royce: 14 units (total: 120)
- Aston Martin: 6 units (total: 39)
- McLaren: 1 unit (total: 9)
- Maybach: 1 unit (total: 6)
- Bugatti: 1 unit (total: 5)
The prices of these cars range from hundreds of thousands to several million dollars. While importing such exotic cars used to be rare and done through individual orders from abroad, there is now a stable and growing market. This points to a rise in capital concentration and the steady development of the high-income segment in the country.
